Documentation related to the defence industry is defined by a very strict set of rules where standards, templates and regulatory documents determine content as well as the time of production. A project usually runs for several years, and generally includes both documentation development and educational material for users as well as technicians.
The Swedish Armed Forces have several sub-contractors, and therefore they have a great need for standardising with the use of rules, regulations, and fixed processes. Autotech has worked with the Swedish Armed Forces for many years. During this time, we have developed a vast experience of producing documents meeting the high demands of the defence industry.
The education of technicians and end-users of defence material is extremely important. In many cases the material can, if used wrong, cause serious injuries or death. An example of an educational package Autotech has developed is the education on mid-air refuelling of helicopters, with the armed forces transport plane Lockheed C-130 Hercules.
